We knew about this for months, going to Spain was our main plan but life got in the way…we woke up in Sardinia and the day was super cloudy so for the entire day we didn’t know if we would have made it! Finding the right spot was even harder, full of people we didn’t expect, a land we did not know, hiking in the heat, legs full of scratches… Was it worth it? Looking at it now, this job feels more “normal” in a way. Let’s just say there are a lot of people doing it… but when we started 5 years ago, friends and family never missed an opportunity to tell us how unlikely it was that we’d ever make a living from it. They never really understood that when we travel, we’re not on holiday 😅 We work more than we ever have, much more than we did in our old jobs. All this to say: the people closest to you aren’t always right. They don’t always know what’s best for you, or the true extent of what you’re capable of.
